Scott Vernon and Family
Scott and his beautiful wife,
Abby Vernon
Scott Vernon was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, where he has lived his entire life. His dad carried him hunting for the first time when he was just two years old and Scott realized very early on that he had an unwavering love for the outdoors, that he loved the sport of hunting and, specifically, bow hunting whitetail deer.

In his twenties and thirties, he began shooting archery competitively and won many state and local tournaments, and was also named Alabama Bow Hunter of the Year. Through this phase of his life competitive archery was a top priority and his dream of shooting professionally came true.
1n 1990, Scott turned his passion for hunting and his love of shooting bows into a business when he opened Bow Hunter Pro Shop in Saraland, Alabama. Bow Hunter Pro Shop is the only pro shop just for bow hunters in all of South Alabama.
In 1998, Scott gave his life to Jesus Christ and this began a spiritual journey that he is still pursuing to this day. He is the first to tell you that the two greatest passions in his life are the pursuit of Jesus Christ and the pursuit of wild game.
Scott realized very early in his ministry that God was going to somehow use his love for the outdoors and his love for Jesus Christ to reach men just like himself. This is how Full Draw Ministries was born.

Currently Scott is quite busy while juggling his roles of husband to his beautiful wife Abby, and as dad to his two children: his daughter, Jessica, age 19, and his son, Brandon, age 17; as well as his role as owner of Bow Hunter Pro Shop, which has been in business for over 20 years, and also as owner of Custom Monogramming, a monogramming, embroidery and screen printing business that has specialized for the last eight years in creating custom corporate apparel, purchased uniforms and ad specialty items for companies in the greater Mobile area, and as founder of Full Draw Ministries, through which he speaks to hundreds of hunters at wild game suppers, church events and other speaking engagements around the country.
His prayer for the future is the same as when he started, that God would allow him to use his love for the outdoors to win other hunters to Jesus Christ.
